Summary: SolContacts collects nothing.
None. SolContacts has no account system, no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising identifiers, and no crash reporting. We cannot see who uses the app or what they store in it.
The wallet contacts you create — name, Solana address, and optional note and category — are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
SolContacts makes one kind of request. When you view a contact, the app may look up that address's SOL balance. The request goes to a third-party Solana RPC provider — currently Helius — and, if that provider is unavailable, to Solana's public endpoint at api.mainnet-beta.solana.com.
Either way the request contains the public wallet address being viewed, and the provider may log it under its own privacy policy. It contains nothing that identifies you: no account, no device identifier, and no other contact from your address book.
No other data is transmitted, ever.
SolContacts is not a wallet. It never requests, receives, stores, or transmits private keys, secret keys, or seed phrases. It cannot sign a transaction and cannot move funds.
The camera is used only to scan QR codes, only while the scanner screen is open. No image or video is stored or transmitted.
SolContacts is not directed at children under 13.
Material changes to this policy will be noted in the app's release notes.
